Late, Late, Late

I believe being late is the story of my life. It all started almost 40 years ago when I decided to enter into the world almost 2 weeks late. (My poor mother) Apparently, that incident has set the tone for my entire life. That is the story I am sticking to anyway. Let's take this blog, for example. Late again, which I do realize is a serious personal problem. For some reason the fact that yesterday was Friday didn't register in my brain. I think I am going to blame this particular instance on the snowfall. I had to get out of the house and focus on getting to work safely while other people had the pleasure of lounging in the bed. :) So not fair!
At this point I am in pout mode in regards to all the snow. I am SICK of the white stuff people. I need warmth...I need to feel the warm sun on my skin...I need to don shorts and bikini tops as I dig in the mulch beds...I need my summer Fridays off!!!!

1. So many of us settle for whatever situation we are in instead of saying 'life is too short for us to allow tolerance and acceptance for certain things'

2. I have in my past and will continue in my future to keep my head up and a smile on my face at least 80% of the time even in hardship.

3. Those who are accepting of other people's quirks and differences can become more accepting of their own.

4. My future is waiting quietly.

5. Light is in both the genuine smile on the face of someone you care about and the incessant giggle of a child.

6. of all that is ordinary. (I am struggling with this one so I am leaving it blank for now. I cant seem to find anything that makes sense)

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I am looking forward to eating pizza and hanging out with my extended family, tomorrow my plans include bowling or skating with the kids with a late basketball game for Michael and Sunday, I want to get some little things done around the house because those little things add up to big things.
